Growing Minds

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker that utilizes a strengths-based approach to facilitate change. I have interned and worked in various settings including corrections, Veterans Affairs, psychiatric hospitals and drug treatment facilities. I have been with Growing Minds since 2018, working with adults, teens and families out of our Simi Valley location.

I personalize my care to each client once I get to know them, their struggles, strengths and personality. I draw most of my interventions from CBT, DBT and solution-focused techniques. I tailor my approach based on the needs of my clients.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important tool we have for progress and change. I am warm and supportive, yet direct in my approach. I try to neutralize the power dynamic that naturally exists in the therapeutic relationship and work collaboratively with my clients.
