Growing Minds

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and my practice is primarily focused around children and adolescents. This includes family counseling.  Due to the variety of challenges children, adolescents, and families face, I’m well versed in life events such as childbirth, adoption, children with special needs, adolescence issues, school issues, divorce and death. Additionally, I’m experienced with many mental health issues. I frequently work with disorders such as ADHD, Autism, Aspergers, Bi-polar, OCD, Reactive Attachment, Depression and Anxiety.

 

I have grown up in Ventura County for most of my life and really love this amazing community. I Graduated from CSUN with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and a Master’s Degree in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I find that different modalities work best with different clients, but find that Family Systems is one of my favorites. As an intern, I was fortunate to work in the Ventura County school system and have really come to understand and appreciate what our children face in their daily lives. I truly love my career and look forward to helping people reach their goals and make life more positive and successful in whatever way works best for them. I look forward to working with you, as well.
