Growing Minds

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Sciences at UC Irvine in 2008 and my Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2012.

My clinical approach is rooted in CBT, DBT, Somatic/Body-Based, Polyvagal and Neurobiological Interventions. I specialize in working with older adolescents and adults to cope with and manage anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, and interpersonal distress. I have spent much of my practice working with survivors of crime and/or violence and military/ veterans. I also enjoy working with new moms and maternal mental health issues. I have been with Growing Minds since 2021 and work out of our Camarillo location.

I provide a safe and supportive environment to my help my clients openly express their thoughts and feelings. I approach each client as a unique individual and collaborate to create a personalized treatment plan. I assess clients concerns and provide recommendations as to what may help them cope better whether it might be working on their negative or nonproductive thoughts, communication,  development of Self, or referring to other community resources that may supplement their treatment.
